What we believe at Hagios.
Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. We hold to historic, biblical Christianity with clarity, conviction, and compassion.
1. The Word of God
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and it is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2. The Nature of God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and His return in power and glory.

4. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that true salvation results in repentance, transformation, and a life of holiness.

5. Holiness & Set-Apart Living
We believe God calls every believer to live a life set apart in holiness, purity, and obedience, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

6. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in conviction, regeneration, sanctification, and empowerment for righteous living.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and prepare people for the coming Kingdom of God.

9. Marriage
We believe marriage is ordained by God and is the covenant union between one biological man and one biological woman.

10. God’s Design for Gender & Sexuality
We believe God created humanity in His image as male and female. We believe sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one biological man and one biological woman, and that all other expressions of sexuality fall outside God’s design. We hold these convictions with biblical clarity and Christlike compassion, welcoming every person while upholding God’s truth.
